cousin is a management company, a label and a shop.

It wasn't always this way though- for the first edition of our new mailer Archive, I am honouring the first few years of the job while ribbon-cutting our new website: cousin.world.

This archive is a space to add context to our projects and explain a bit more about our creative thinking beyond the noise of social media. I'll also collect up other bits and bobs from the cousin universe, including beautiful things you can buy to support our artists.

When I started cousin in 2018, it was a PR company. I ran it for three years, two of which spent running it with fab Becca McLeish who now runs the agency Nightswim.

My favourite bits about PR were that I was often one of the first- if not the first person on the project and I got super involved in the creative. I kind of followed both of those impulses out of PR and into management where I now get to do both of those things in an expanded capacity.
